2025 Faculty Grants Nomination Submission

One of the goals of ICCFA is to promote teaching and learning excellence. One of the ways we do this, is through annual faculty research and workshop funding.

Grants are awarded to faculty who propose workshops or research projects that further education or research which contribute to teaching and scholarly excellence at an Illinois Community College.

Every year, up to four grants with maximum of $2,500 each have been awarded to members of ICCFA.

Application Submission:
• Please submit completed applications via email to Hong Fei, ICCFA Grants Coordinator: hong.fei@heartland.edu

• Include in the subject heading: ICCFA Grant Application.

• The format could be Word® or PDF (saved from a Word document).

• Fei will acknowledge, via email, all emailed applications within one business day. If you do not receive a timely acknowledgment, it is important to call or email Fei at 309-212-0455.

• The ICCFA Executive Committee will review Grant Applications in June. Grant winners will be notified during the early half of June. The approved research shall be completed between June of the year awarded, and June 1, of the following year.
The grant funds will be disbursed in June to support the summer projects.
