The Illinois Community College Faculty (ICCFA) is accepting nominations for the following offices:
> Vice-President (Term January 2025 - December 2027)
> Treasurer (Term January 2025 - December 2027)
> Vice-President for Membership and Delegate Affairs (Term January 2025 - December 2027)
> We are also looking for 4-5 faculty to serve as members at large.

Meeting Times
Meetings are via zoom except for the annual conference. Meeting times are determined at the start of each semester and depend on the board members’ teaching schedules.

Time commitment
There are two meetings a month that are planned for 1.5 hours each although they don’t always run that long. Other time requirements vary depending on the activities and committees one serves on.

Eligibility
Any full or part time faculty member with teaching duties and with no designation as administrator, and any part time faculty with six consecutive semesters, not counting summers, are eligible to serve on the Executive Board.

Self-nominations are acceptable
To nominate yourself or someone else for a position on the ICCFA Board, please read the position descriptions below and submit the Nomination Form.

Voting
Two members from each college at the Delegate Assembly are eligible to vote for nominees and are also the voters for other matters that come up at the assembly. The assembly will take place at the end of our annual conference on November 8th, 2024, at the I-Hotel in Champaign, IL.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
President-elect
It shall be the duty of the President-elect to assist the President in his/her duties and in the absence of the President to preside over meetings and fulfill the responsibilities of the presiding officer, and to be responsible for programs at the general meetings of the Association. The Administrative Vice-President shall serve a term of two (2) years, shall be elected in the even years, and shall be President-elect of the Association.

Vice-President for Membership and Delegate Affairs
It shall be the duty of the Vice-President to encourage attendance of members, delegates, and alternates at general meetings of the Association; to maintain accurate mailing lists of campus coordinators; to disseminate to the membership information concerning meetings and agendas; and to assist with registration and identification of delegates for Delegate Assemblies. The Vice-President for Membership and Delegate Affairs shall be elected in even numbered years and shall serve a term of two (2) years.

Treasurer
It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to collect all monies due the Association and to provide properly for their deposit and security; to work with other officers of the Association in the structuring of a budget; to work with the Executive Committee and follow any other procedures of this organization; to submit interim reports of the status of the treasury at general meetings of the Association; to conduct registration at these meetings; and to prepare the books for audit. The treasurer will be bonded at the expense of the Association. The treasurer shall be elected in the even numbered years and shall serve a term of two (2) years.

Members at Large
We are looking particularly for faculty from the central and southern regions of the state for a broader state view but anyone is eligible faculty member is welcome to apply. These members should be willing to advocate for the faculty view on issues related to Community Colleges/Higher Education, and possibly to serve as liaisons to other board/organizations of Higher Education in Illinois. They should also be willing to lead subcommittees and to be developed/mentored to take on other positions on the board.
